歩哨

The sentinels stand at the gates of a sacred garden visited by wanderers in search of self discovery. The sentinels do not let all that come to them pass through to the garden. What the sentinels see when they stare into a soul triggers their decision, yet what they see can never escape their gaze. If the wanderer is ready, she may enter the garden, where the sentinels remain as guardians to her next trials.

Passing through these gates yields a garden of ever changing fruit. In response to the energy a wanderer carries through, the garden will sprout with opportunities of experience that the wanderer must engage to progress, should she choose to do so.  When the trials are over, the wanderer will leave not only a seed of her experience to plant in the rich soil for others to treasure, but also leave with tokens and wisdom from those who have passed through this sacred place before her. When the garden calls, the wanderer will return.
