The Kanji on this shirt means “Samurai Spirit,” a reminder that the Samurai embodied the spirit of honor and discipline. Ideally, samurai would live by the code of Bushido, and a samurai was recognized not as much by wearing weapons and armor, but more by the samurai’s adherence to the seven virtues of Bushido. A samurai was as true as he or she acted with integrity, courage, compassion, respect, honesty, honor, and loyalty.
“He will win who knows how to handle both superior and inferior forces.”
Each shirt is skillfully hand silkscreened, with over 10 custom screens designed and used to make each shirt. The black fabric in the shirt creates the blacks in the image, reducing the amount of paint needed to make a crisp picture. The result is a softer, more breathable graphic that is pliable and light-weight. Due to the handcrafted nature of this design, there will be minor variations between each shirt, which we embrace as part of the handmade nature of the process.
The labor intensive and complex nature of creating these shirts makes it necessary to make low quantities of each size at a time. As inventory runs out, we will make more. So please check back later or backorder the product if you see your size is sold out. Backorders will receive priority.
